Questions about City Utilities should be directed to the City Office at (641) 585-3574.

DUE DATE: Utility bills are due on the 20th day of each month (regardless of the day of the week.) 

PAYMENT: Payments can be made online or mailed to: City of Forest City, P.O. Box 346, Forest City, IA 50436, dropped off at City Hall reception desk, dropped in the "drop slot" at the front of City Hall, or arrange for direct payment by sign-up in City Hall. Form for auto pay is below. 

PENALTY: A penalty of 1.5% will be charged after the Due Date on the total amount due.

RESIDENTIAL SIGN-UP: Residents should visit City Hall to fill out an application for utilities. Residents will need their Social Security Number, Telephone Number, and Employer Name.

RENTERS: Renters should visit City Hall to fill out an application for utilities. Renters will need their Social Security Number, Telephone Number, Employer Name, photo ID, and a meter deposit or letter of credit from their former utility provider.
